Hello! I'm working with 3M Abrasives this summer and would love to listen to anyone that has opinion on abrasive products, where/how you purchase abrasives, etc. I'm not trying to sell anything, just trying to understand the small to midsize custom woodworker better.

Side story about me personally: When I was an undergrad, I was really excited about the idea of woodworking and decided I would convert my second bedroom in my apartment into a woodshop and build custom entertainment centers. The week I was moving in, I was reading the many rules of living there and the very last rule was "you can't do woodworking in the apartment". Someone must have already tried it. Looking back though, that's probably a good rule :)

It was me. Sorry about that. However, the balcony was even better working area.

Welcome to WWT. Hey, do you have free samples, like the little old lady in the grocery store on weekends? Nope, it's just nice having you here. Again, welcome.

Thanks everyone! This is a great community here.

vursenbach: I don't think I get any free samples, but I'll see what I can do.

It was a joke. I was not serious; however, samples would be nice. ; )
