Hi, I'm David Carpenter west suburbs of Chicago. I was fortunate enough to have a loving father to start me out when I was a child to teach me how to build and construct houses. I take pride in my work and thank The Lord for the blessing to be able to do this occupation today's economy

Welcome from NH - yes, it's tough to be doing carpentry in today's economy. Sounds like you're bucking the system by doing quality work you can be proud of

You are so lucky to have had your childhood influence,
Is there or will there be a third generation?

My great grandpa was actually a carpenter aswell, I'm lucky I have all his tools.

I am hoping to have couple of kids and spend my days with them, try to make work fun for them. Be great if i could leave the experience to one of them. I'm excited for kids. Just looking for that proverbs 31 wife now
