Hi,

I'm trying to come up with a plan to convert my office desk (which can't be altered) to a stand up desk. I've attached my two ideas for "raising" a new surface to standing height, so I can work there.

One idea is just putting posts under a sheet of wood and the other is building a box on one end, while putting a post on the other.

What do you think about this? The only things I have concerns about aare (1) will the top surface hold the two monitors as pictures and (2) should I instead work from the bottom of the desk and prop the whole thing up on boxes (made by me) somehow.

Thanks!

Hi,

The table is 6 ft x 3 ft.

What you don't see just has about an inch think wall along the back of the entire desk (and three feet of this table against the wall) and a couple feet in the front.

There's an abutting desk two feet wide that is hinged to it also along where I sit. Hard to get a picture of it all.

Thanks!
