Pain in the A$$

I would like to make a couple of toy wooden trucks/etc for my nephews son (3 yo) for Christmas. My nephew said to make them usable and to expect them to get trashed as he likes to take his toys outside and play. So, I'm looking for a basic plans that I can use standard 2x4 or pine for some simple projects. I also have lots of scraps I can use for accent pieces. I though I might be able to do wheels with a 1/4" circle cutter, which will also make the axle hole at the same time.

Does anyone have any plans they'd being will to share (money is very tight this year with wife/daughter medical bills)? I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
