Found several of these outside an old furniture-refurbishing store that recently closed. Does anyone happen to know what they are? What is spray painted on says "Gary and Chris Hallock", although I believe they may not help with IDing.

We have an introduction section where you can say a few words about yourself. If you fill out your profile in your "User Control Panel", you can list any hobbies, experience or other facts. You can also list your general geographical location which would be a help in answering some questions.

One thought comes to mind is that they might be for the trays/racks used for bee keeping like this.

They are frames , that with sheet beeswax adhered by the simple expedient of electric current to fine wires strung across them are hung in supers which are the boxes that when stacked one upon the other make up beehives .

That is exactly what they are. Thank you. Any ideas for using them on a project/any advice on whether they are safe enough to re-purpose?
