I googled "proxxon mini belt sander", poked around a little, saw an image that was similar to your machine so I clicked it, took me to a review of it from 2012, in the review they detail the belt size, it is metric.

Give it a try searching for it, the info is certainly out there...

I don't know why shoot summ didn't post the link. It wasn't easy to find, but here it is:
http://www.ventspleen.com/proxxon-bbss-mini-belt-sander-review/

According to the article:
"It uses belts 40 x 265 mm in size and they are available in grits from 80 to 240."

I found a US source for them here:
https://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/px28922/
https://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/px28924/
https://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/px28926/
https://www.woodworkingshop.com/product/px28928/

Where are you located?

Hi

Thanks for the links, I just measured the belt and unfortunately it's 30mm x 300mm, so those belts won't fit, I'll keep looking though. I also got a response back from Proxxon And they said the sander is not a Proxxon product, and to contact MicroMark for assistance. I guess that would explain why it says made in Japan on the sticker above the serial number sticker, now I just have to wait for MicroMark.

Because shoot summ likes to see people learn how to do things, not do things for them.

It was super easy to find for me, literally less than 30 seconds.

And as it turns out the OP decided to take the right path and measure the belt, so it would have been wrong if I had posted.

Hi

It looks like a couple of places in the U.S. still sell belts for this, and it looks like I can modify 1.5" x 12" to fit.

Thanks for the help.
