Hi, I'm Paul, I used to be a fabricator, mainly working with metal, but now I'm going to NCSU for mechanical engineering. You'll see me doing a lot of projects with small wooden machines, and of course working on my own tools since i don't have much of a shop, just what i can do in my apartment, and occasionally in the university shops when they let me use them. I'm interested in making things like mechanical toys, music boxes, and really anything that seems like fun.

Hi Paul, I am also a relatively new guy here and I also used to be a metal fabricator. I still keep a Hobart 230 amp AC/DC welder and a set of torches to do my own repair work with. Although I liked doing fabricating, especially from a "print," but I would rather work with wood than anything else. I have a 20 X 30 foot shop I built last summer and I want to start making furnture again. Welcome to the forum.
