Been lurking a while, but officially jumped into the pool now!
I grew up in the woodshop my dad ran. Have been in the sawdust since I can remember. I decided early on that I enjoyed woodworking as a hobby rather than a trade, so I shuttered the custom cabinet and construction business I had been running to enter the financial services industry.
I now focus on furniture building in my home shop, and enjoy the hell out of it.:thumbsup:
I love reading about innovative approaches and seeing the projects and shops of fellow enthusiasts.
Sometime I think building and refining my shop is as much fun as producing finished projects!
