I have loved messing with wood and tools for many years, but now it is time to get serious. So I think reading and sharing with folks that have been doing this for however long will get me off my butt and cause me to make something besides fixing up the house.

Welcome Jack Van. You live in one of my favorite cities. I was forced to read Midnight . . . (bet I don't even have to finish the title) once and after chapter one could not put the thing down. Like watching a train wreck.

Naw Texas I know the book and the movie and every location in it.
Every visitor wants to see where the movie was made along with Forest Gump and Glory etc.

I look forward to this learning process and y'all have a whole bunch of smart folks here. This is indeed exciting.
