I grew up in a home with a lot of antiques so naturally my father was always fixing, refinishing something. He became quite good at it and now that I am inheriting a lot of antique furniture I'm doing the same.
I am having a table and sideboard done professionally but can't afford to do more so I'm doing the 8 chairs myself. I think maybe I should have kept the table and sent the chairs!
Once I get through the chairs I'd like to do a half round side table!
