I first started woodworking with my grandfather when I was to short to see onto the bench. He was a master and had his shop at home and his work shop at the hospital where he was head carpenter. I learned a lot working with him. I then spent thirty years on the local police force retiring a year ago March. My shop is a 28 by 30 building in the back yard. It is both a sharpening shop and a wood shop, as I do both.
