Joined today looking for some input on some wood I have come across. Thread for that is in general. My dad has been getting pretty serious about his woodwork lately and I'm always on the lookout for good pieces of wood.

Was in Waco this past weekend. Baylor grad. My dad lives down in Belton on the lake. Here are some pics.

Type of wood is what I am trying to figure out. See other thread http://www.woodworkingtalk.com/f2/help-identifying-these-pieces-59587/. I know we have some different types of maple, mahogany, oak. Sometimes we come across some really good finds. I have found access to so much extra wood I wondering if there is a market for it.
