Hey guys, I'm Gavin. I'm a second year carpentry apprentice going on my third year in a couple months. I started a few years back working for a framer then moved onto new construction. That just was a blast and now I'm working in renovation. I have to do a bit of everything but finishing is by far my favourite.

I frequent ContractorTalk but after seeing some the incredible work on here I had to hop over. I'm hoping to do some learning over the next while.

I'm actually originally from Vancouver Island. I used to go watch the carving competitions on the foreshore in Campbell River. They would put the carvings all over the town, there were some pretty unique creations.

HA! CR is on my bucket list. Fist Nations wood carving classes, too.
Might even wet a line in the chuck.

The Chetwynd Invitational up in the Peace country is unbelievable.
A good friend has done OK there in past years.

Anyway, this is the place, particularly for things interior.
