I'm new to this part of the world. I'm a 29y.o. framing carpenter just getting into wood working. I've done a bit of trim here and there but am looking to get more involved. I'm getting started as a hobby for now, but if it turns into more so be it. Can't bang nails forever so hopefully when getting out of bed to hump lumber all day becomes to much to bear i'll have something else to occupy my time.

One area that really facinates me is brightwork on boats. I have a dream of one day refinishing an early 80's Egg Harbor. But I'm a few years from embarking on that journey. For now I'm just looking for stuff to get my feet wet and learn the basics. If anyone can reccomend a book get me started that would be great.

Thanks for reading
