Am new to the forum and would like to say "Hi"

Am an Arborist by trade (25yrs) but am now more of a weekend warrior!,

Am incredibly keen to seek advice and hints on using timber / wood for constructing little things around my place here in West Wales (UK).
I mill my own timber and also make rustic furniture (interior /exterior).

Although am very knowledgeable about trees in general, I am very much at the novice/ beginners stage with woodworking / carpentry and would very much like to pick all of your brains, skill and experience in the near future.

Look forward to chatting / discussing stuff with you all in the near future

Cheers,
Tim Greenwood

PS. yes, that is my real surname!!! I was destined to work with wood!!

Thanks Knotscott..........

We have been seeing on our News channels that you fellers over the "pond" have been having it quite rough with the cold and snowy weather! Hope your wrapped up warm!

We are quite lucky here really, we have it very wet and windy (being on the west coast of Britain) and we get a dumping of snow every year, but not the deep freeze that you guys get!...
