He wants rustic...OK

Back story.. A friend of mine owns a restaurant / tavern and wants a rack to hold wine glasses & stemware mounted above the bar. So I ask 20 questions & he's rather vague about the whole thing other than "rustic & nice" concept.
This whole conversation was in July.. So I found a cedar log that had blown down a year or so ago & cut about 6 ft off the butt of it. Then ripped it in half with a chain saw doing the best I could following a chalk line. All things considered it didn't come out too messed up.

place holder

Mods.. delete this place holder pls..
Then there's a span of time where I worked on it but didn't get any photos. I mounted it & made a router sled to plane the surface flat. This all worked out well but did take many passes to get things flattened.
I peeled all the bark and rotten surface wood away but still left some worm holes and spalting.
Heres a couple shots of these after 3 coats of urethane

I ripped some 10 quarter stock for the rails & cut them to a 15 degree bevel which matches the wine glass he let me borrow for sizing.
The rails were urethaned on the inside since this would be a tough place to get at after assembly. The rails are glued, screwed & plugged to the log. Heres a couple shots before & after the first coat of urethane.

So that's where it stands today. I still have some touch up to do, get the chains, shackles & mounting hardware then deliver this puppy.
The finished size is 12" x 10" x 65". Weighs about 50# & will hold 48 glasses or more if you want to push your luck.
Sorry for the multiple posts but I'm having trouble getting the pics & text placement to do what I want it to.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks for checking it out & commenting

Very nice.
How wide is it?
Dom: its just over a foot wide & just over 5 ft long. Weighs about 50 pounds.

Nice build! Are they going to hang it with chains at the bar?
Trav: Yes! We're suspending it from four points with 3/16th chain, shackles & screw eyes.

I'm supposed to meet up with the owner at around 10 today for the install.
I'll take the camera & get a few shots along the way.

Install is done. Went without any issues. We suspended it on the eye screws with string kinda set up like a block & tackle. Lifted one end then the other, played with height and angles till it all looked good then we hung the chains & shackles. We left 3-4 links extra for further adjustment as well as the eye screws can be sunk an inch or so if needed..
Here's a few shots after the install.
