Here’s something to keep in mind when making these. The 1/8x3/4 bought was a different width. It was a little bit wider than 3/4.

The clamp rack is 19.5 wide x 16” deep x 28” tall when filled..

smallest clamp rack I got in the shop that holds plenty..

I have 2 of each size of these clamps from HF. I clamp them to a saw horse and use them to hold panels vertically. Works well and zero issues in the 3+ years I've had them. Recommended.

I think I will re paint the clamp holder. Red is over powering my shop…

Red is like kryptonite in my shop..

So the HF and Menards wood screw clamp have problems. Because of the way a couple HF clamps were difficult to turn and the Menards clamps were jamming, I wonder if a little work with a fine wire brush on a drill would help?

I have about 6 of the 12" HF clamps and each one is fine. I make sure I run them through the threads before I purchase. Don't recall finding any sticky ones while testing. For a while every time I went in the store I picked up one. I have enough of them.

Hmmm, I have 6 of the HF clamps and do not have any issues whatsoever. I would return them for new ones since they have lifetime warranty.
