I am a young engineering student who has taken on a project of creating something useful to solve a problem in today's world. I have come here for advice from the pros in the areas of woodworking. Have you ever been in need of a handheld device that could hollow out curved objects? Much like a modern Dremel but with a flexible pole to connect to the bit. It would also be navigated by a screen and set of controls on the base of the device to get around corners. The closest thing I can relate to this are the cameras that doctors use to see inside of patients. This idea came to me by watching my father create antler chandeliers, he would always hollow out straight lines and be forced to make holes in the antlers and go back and repair them. If there already exists a device that does that please post it and let me know, if not id love to hear feed back on this idea, thanks in advance!
