Never heard of that company. If all it has is two knobs, one should raise and lower the spindle and the other may be to lock the spindle in place.
The handwheel to raise and lower the spindle is on the other side not shown in the picture. The two I am asking about attach to the front of the spindle frame. It's possible that one is used to lock down the spindle adjustments. I guess I will have to take things apart to get some answers.Never heard of that company. The takeover by Felder happened quite a while ago. I have tried contacting the parent companies and they usually only have information for a year or two, like when Miller took over Hobart info was good for 2 years and then it was like Hobart never existed. The Felder Group association to Hammer was in some other link I looked at, but can't locate that link again. I Googled the Felder Group before coming across the link below.
Maybe (can't hurt to....) ask the folks at the Felder Group, see if they have specs or a manual for the machine. I'm speculating it was the Felder Group that bought Hammer .... see the 1997-2001 notation in the link.
History | Felder Group.
I'm wondering now if one knob locks the shaft from turning so you can change cutters. The handwheel to raise and lower the spindle is on the other side not shown in the picture.
