First off, I wish to extend my thanks and appreciation to Kenbo for inspiring me to keep going with scroll work. Thank you Ken.

This was a stack cut from 1/8" Baltic Birch plywood. It is backed with her favorite color (green) and mounted on a base constructed of Walnut. The base idea came from another website - Scrollsaw Workshop - and I thank them as well.

I didn't like the looks of the picture just sitting on the walnut, so I cut some more and added the "frame".

Thanks to all for the continued support - may you have a decent day.

It looks great! You did well to add the framing walnut. It finishes it off quite nicely.

Did you use an online pattern generator to convert a photo? I'd like to do a few scrolled portraits and am not sure of the best way to go about the patterning.

Beautiful portrait! Like the green backing, makes the scroll work really stand out. Very nice walnut frame and finish. Great job!
