[Cliff Rogers]

G'day.

I just joined up, probly have a lurk for a while & see what is interesting.

Some of you may know me from some of the other forums on the net.

For those who don't, here is an intro.

I'm a Computer Tech in Far North Queensland, Australia. (Near Cairns)
I'm a field tech mostly, out on the job rather than in the workshop as I install/service/maintain stuff that is not easy to bring into a workshop like ATMs, Photo Kiosks & big colour printers etc.

Computer work is now fairly boring. :thumbdown:

I have several hobbies, my main wood related one is turning.
I have owned a lathe since about 1982(?) but only started turning on a regular basis in '91 after doing a couple of turning courses at Adult Education classes. I now have 4 lathes but only use 2.

My wife & I live up in the mountains behind Cairns & we are currently renovating a house that is about 20years old.
Renos are now fairly boring too. (I hate painting) :thumbdown:

Thanks, I took the painting option 'cos the 4 x 2 was the other option offered. :huh:

Been hit in the head with a 2 x 4 didn't like it. Told I dripped too much painting so I still do Electronics and Computers. But I do alot of Scrollsaw work to maintain my sanity. That may have been questioned a few times however.
