Hi,
First time poster.
I have a 2006 G1023SLWX wired for 220 single phase.
It has worked well for years. I did not run it for 6-8 months over the summer. No changes to saw, including any maintenance. Now saw will only start when blade very low or below surface. Motor will try (yes, you can hear it try) when blade is fully extended, but no go.
You CAN extend blade all the way when started. However, the saw makes new (unsafe) noises when the blade is fully extended and running. A strange vibration noise.
Saw has now been vacuumed out and oiled according to manual specs. Inspection of belts, arbor, etc... shows no reason.
So, inspection thoughts? Areas of concern? Helpful hints?
