I've tried fuller brand and Canadian tire brand forstner bits and neither seemed to work too well. Is there another brand someone can recommend. The Canadian tie brand looked like they had been used already they were so dull and chipped. I even checked other packages and they all looked the same. Thanks.

I bought a set of MLCS Forstners. Then I bought the fill-in set (1/16's). Then I bought a big 3" (or 3 1/2, I forget) to cut recesses for the works on the back of some clocks I made. They all have cut well.

Now I am sure that the MLCS bits are not of the quality of the ones mentioned above, but like their router bits, they are a great bang for the buck.
