Here's my interest. So I'm making different cutting boards for Christmas gifts this year, some are end grain cutting boards for the folks that will take care of them and are "foodies" so they will appreciate a fine cutting board.
The other folks I have in mind will be getting a face grain cutting board, easier to make and I won't mind so much their lack of cutting board etiquette.
So, my wife and I are talking about cutting boards and she brings up the fact that some of the plastic boards she has seen has different colors on each side to indicate what to cut, for example
red for meats and green for veggies.
So I'm looking into different dyes etc..and I see this one and it states no VOC's is this safe for a cutting board?
Let's hear it fellas!

I would be cautious with this, food dyes are naturally safe but may not last, here's some to consider. I've not used these, but did catch some info on them on another forum.

Thanks guys. This is something I was just kicking around, probably won't get too deep into this.
Would be cool though!
