Hi all

I finished this up recently. I married a woman who makes smaller-bodied electric bass guitars for smaller people or folks with smaller hands. She had most of the tools and such, and I've long been an acoustic guitar player, so I figured, why not? I'll build one too!

It's a neck-through design, as opposed to most guitars which have bolt-on or glued-in necks. This gives it incredible sustain.

body: mahogany
carved top: padouk
laminated neck: maple and walnut
fingerboard and headstock veneer: rosewood

I had so much fun making it that I've started a second one!

Thanks! I made them from scraps from the neck. They would look much better with the O-rings on. I cut a small groove in them to accept an O-ring for a nice grip, but I forgot and left them off when I took the pics.
