My first red mallee bowl. This stuff is hard to turn (for me anyway).
It is 8 1/2 by 1 1/2 - turned on my Rikon mini. Finish is antique oil and beall buffed.

Went to the Florida Woodturning Symposium a couple of weeks ago. There was a vendor there with lots of Australian burls. Picked up a few of the smaller ones for my Rikon mini. Don't remember the vendor's name, but he is out of the Atlanta area.
