I am making a cherry dresser and i will be using an oil based lacquer for the finish. I know that you can not use oil based products on the inside of drawers because of the smell. What finish should i use on the inside? Would something like shellac work? I would like to be able to wipe this on. Also, should i buy shellac already mixed or try to mix it myself?
Thanks
Austin

The best shellac comes in powder form. I think Bull`s Eye would also work. But if the drawers slide on wood tracks I would leave them raw but sanded to 220 grit.
