Great post! Also consider your needs today and for future projects. Be certain to read, understand the owners manual, and use the router (and ALL tools) in a safe manner. Thanks for sharing, and be safe.

You have omitted a big factor

You can describe all the features and power ratings and types of bases you want and have done that, BUT the conclusion is the obvious:
One router can't/won't do it all. That's why the serious/advanced woodworkers here have at least 3 and usually many more.
@Leo G just made a recent post that he wishes he has 10 of the Bosch Colts and would leave a different bit in each one to save time and fuss changing bits. See Post 994:

I haven't counted all mine, but it may be over 10 routers, with 3 permanently mounted in lifts in tables.
