Famowood Glaze Coat - Pouring Issues

I am attempting to use Famowood Glaze Coat on my live edge wood shelf project.
The wood has been prepped (i.e. sanded, seal coated, etc...)

Yet, after multiple attempts, I continue to encounter the same problem when pouring the Famowood Glaze Coat.
I follow the instructions step-by-step. I measure each part precisely and use three different containers. I follow the mixing times - 6 minutes of mixing followed by pouring into a new container and another 6 minutes of mixing.
However, when I pour the mixture onto my wood project it does not allow me time to spread it out in one direction with a plastic squeegee as it becomes very tacky almost instantly.
Has anyone else encountered this problem, even with a different product?
And if so, do you have any insight you can provide to me to address this issue?

FYI - the room temperature is at 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thank you!
