Have any of you ever used these:

Street light Computer monitor accessory Bracket Metal Composite material
Cabinetry Property Countertop Wood Kitchen

My sister is remodeling her kitchen and wants a raised black walnut countertop above the granite countertop in the bar area. The raised countertop will be about 16" wide by about 60" long and around 1 3/4" thick. It seems a bit risky elevating a walnut countertop at an angle off of her granite countertops but there will be a metal bearing plate installed under the countertop to help distribute the load.

She sent me a few pictures of what she wanted and the closest hardware I found was from Federal Brace. I'm not sure if there are better options out there or if anyone on this forum has experience doing something like this already. If so I'd appreciate any recommendations or advice! Thanks.

No experience. However, it occurs to me that some very strong bolts will be required. I would definitely use stainless. The metal plate underneath is a good idea. I would definitely would not want to drill holes in the granite. I wonder if there is a possibility of mounting the raised surface to some vertical supports mounted to the side of the cabinet.
