I bought this shave off of ebay i paid $43 and some change including shipping. Not too bad i dont think. Its a E Preston flat bottom shave. It is missing the thumb screw. It has been replaced with a machine screw. It does work well tho. It was bought to be a user more then a collector.

Cool deal.

I like E-pay.We use it for "real time" research on some pretty out-there,designs.

Question:Were you looking for this specific shave(make/model)?Or was it one on a list of items on you radar...and it came up for sale?Just curious.

Always on the look out for antique tools. This one caught my eye.
