I decided to make my wife a Christmas present for this Christmas. I finished it a little early, and made them an early Christmas present...

These are from Walnut stock. I matched the grain on left/right grips. These are mounted on my wifes Kimber TLE RLII .45 ACP. Finish is several coats of Tung Oil rubbed into the wood. I've got too many hours into them, but it was a fun little project.

The fitting was difficult since I had never made grips before, and my first attempt was not good, so this is the second set. I was going to checker them, but the wife likes them the way they are.

Edit: If anyone is interested in HOW I made these, let me know and I can post more pictures and descriptions of how I did this including links to other sites that describe how-to...
