If you convert your current drawers, I think you will end up losing some size. Are you planning on redoing the drawers you already have? Or on making new drawers?
Also what type of tool do you need a jig for? A router? A band saw? a hand saw?

I recently went through buying a jig....made the mistake of trying the harbor freight one (same as another brand). After frustrating myself for 3 days I took it back and bought the porter cable jig....much much better.
Yup, either build new drawers or build new cabinets. Cutting dovetails removes materials from the sides of the drawers, thus making each side shorter.
