When i bought my porter cable 690 router it only came with a 1/4" collet and bushing setup.

I need a 1/2" setup for my dovetail jig and bits.

Trying to find somewhere locally before ordering online.

*Edit*
Didn't even know we had a local porter cable repair center. Called and they have one in stock. Running down now.

I doubt any big box will carry one in stock. Home Depot does carry Porter Cable (Lowes may also I just don't have one anywhere near me) and could probably order you one.

I don't understand this part though:

"I need a 1/2" setup for my dovetail jig and bits."

There is no relationship between the collet size and the dovetail jig that I am aware of unless you are talking about a Leigh jig that recommends 8mm shank bits. Those particular bits are also available in 1/4" shank also from MLCS and other vendors.

I recently bought that router and it came with both collets. Did you buy it new? If so you may want to contact Porter Cable and see if they will ship you the missing part.
