I have the older style Fein Multimaster where the blades are held in by a bolt that's tightened using an Allen wrench. Since then, Fein has gone to a quick replacement system. When I look for blades, all I see is the new style. Will they fit (and function) on my older Multimaster?

I have a new Fein but did work with an old one in the past ( was so impressed I bought my own). I think they are ok - Fein is a good name and I'm sure they considered their old customers when updating their models. They are not throw away tools. To be sure, take an old blade to a Fein dealer and compare - or ask Fein on the web.

I also have the old one, I think you need an adapter to use the new style. It's not too expensive....but still seems pricey for those of use who already spent so much on our tool.

I think the tool and toolless blades are the same for the Multimaster. It's the Supercut that changed the blade drive configuration.
