Have been looking for a small thickness planer and a dewalt 733 just popped up on Craigslist for$100. The ad says it runs good but the height adjustment sticks sometimes. So is it worth $100?

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Worth a $100?

Think the height adjustment issue can be fixed with cleaning / lubing the rails?

Yes, grab it if it's still available. It's unusual to find one around this area for under $200. Chances are the screw mechanism that controls the height adjustment is just gunked up with sawdust, etc.

I've has a 733 for several years and have been happy with it.

I am in Madison and I tend to crawl the hole southern half of the state for woodworking machinery. If I see something I will give you a heads up.
