they are pretty much extinct

Any idea where I can purchase a unifence?
You may come across one on Craig's List or Ebay, but they are rare.
There were some "heads" on EBay a while back, but stripped of parts. The rails are proprietary and not interchangeable with others. The concept is great with the high and low fence heights.

A Biesemeyer fence will be just as accurate and you can create the low height with a add on cap over the stock fence or a "L" platform clamped to it:

waht?

Will they work on my saws rails?
The Biesemeyer rails and fence are steel rectangular tubing.
The Unifence rails are extruded aluminum of a specific design and shape. They are NOT interchangeable.

The Unifence head only fits on the Unifence rails.

There are many Biesemeyer type clone fences and I believe some fit a 2" X 3" rectangular tube....I donno?

I have the Unifence on my Delta ts. Our shop had both, the Biessmeyer and the Unifence. I would choose the Biessmeyer simply for the fact of crossing the blade from left to right and back. Every time I need to cross I curse my Unifence.
