Needing a thrust washer to correct lateral run out of the upper wheel I made one of leather rather than the hassle of trying to locate a factory fiber washer. How long it will last doesn't really matter to me. I don't operate a business but sure enjoy my 9 inch band saw when I need it and I can make another replacement in minutes.
After placing the leather between two pcs of lumber which were clamped to the drill press table, the hole is bored using a 5/8" spade bit. It is then pressed against the wheel hub allowing the previous lubrication to indicate where the scissors need to be placed for cutting the outside diameter. And that's how I made a leather thrust washer.
