Congratulations,
Looks like a real sweet lathe with lots of features.
Is that a 360 or 460? 460 I assume.

when i went to the store this one was on a stand with the extension and it looked heavy
i didnt buy the stand or extension yet though
there were 2 different people turning on it so i saw both work and heard their opinions
turning speeds from 250 rpm to 3600 i think with 3 belt change speeds and the dial motor speed change makes it turn any speed you want
it has reverse for sanding
1 hp motor is big and strong
others here have talked good about it to
i want to turn some different bowls big and little and i think this will do me great

I received that model as a Christmas gift.
I have nothing bad to say about it.

I took a bowl turning class @ the local Woodcraft yesterday to learn what I've been doing wrong for the past coupla months.

I spent another few hundred on a sharpening jig and turning tools after class.
Oh by, another cheap hobby!
