I have a chance to purchase a used planer, a Delta 22-506. I have not seen it in person yet or seen it operate. His asking price is $150.00. All I've seen is a picture. I know this is little information, but is he in the right ballpark regarding price 'IF' it checks out ok?

Before you get this I would check on the availability of the knives. The knives may not be the kind which can be sharpened.

My Delta 22-580 planer has similar disposable blades. Not the hardest edge, so easily nicked.

With the Delta parts situation at present, I would hate to purchase a planer then find the knives were bad and I was not able to find new ones.

Correct model number is 22-560

I just contacted the seller and the correct number 22-560...big difference!
