Hello there! My name is Sam. I come to your forum out of necessity and with a general curiosity that drives me to learn more.

I am a fish keeper who decided to under take a diy project, building my first tank stand. It is for a 75 gallon tank (48x18x20). So I have been buying tools to make this a reality. I am hoping to expand my knowledge with the help of this forum/ project.

One thing I see...

Traditionally, the stiles, (outer end boards), would run full length. This is a structural thing and also hides the end grain of the rails.

You could start a thread in general woodworking. :smile:

Been there with aquariums before. Just make sure that what you make will support all that water/gravel weight.
