Can you provide the dimensions of the aluminum angle, thickness, length and legs?
My concern would be protecting it in a cardboard shipping tube, because if it gets bent, it's no longer useful.
AND if the shipping cost would exceed the cost of a new angle?

As to the Dadonator, those spots may not have any effect on the quality of cut. but do have a negative appearance which may detract from it's value?
If there is a way to remove them, possibly Evaporust? that may prove a worthwhile effort.
The sharpening service you used apparently didn't want to bother [polishing them out.
The Wm Quinn sharpening service I've posted here, always does some sort of surface refinishing and engraves your name on it afterward:

Yeah, the blades came back like that try as I might I couldn't find anything that would remove the stains, I can drop the price a bit if its an issue.
