Got the chance to spin my big Fay and Scott lathe the other day for a custom rosette job and six tricky staircase spindles.
Rosettes were spun 4 at a time on the faceplate to achieve the offset curved profile to match the casings.

Spindles were turned on my smaller Delta lathe.

Wood is Hard Maple for the spindles and Poplar for the rosettes and casings.
