I'm in the Army and I have a friend who just graduated Airborne School ( "Jump School"), and is taking command of an Airborne unit. Long story made short, he loves a mallet I made for someone and asked me to make one to mount on his wall. He is going to be a Battalion Commander, so I wanted it to look handmade and perfect:

Birch and mahogany.

That's a good looking mallet. It's almost too bad it's going to hang on a wall instead of pounding chisels
