The motor assembly on my Craftsman table saw won't adjust to a 90 degree angle. The closest I can get is about 89 degrees but that is after jamming it as far as possible on the negative side of zero.

Is there something I can do to adjust it? Or should I use my Sears warranty?

look for crud build up

There is a stop that limits the travel either on the threads or somewhere underneath. There is probably a hunk of sawdust that is preventing the full travel to 90 degrees. On older saws there is a set screw in the miter slots on either side that limits the travel to 45 and 90 degrees... your may have them? Dig out the manual or download a free copy online.
