This is an absolutely stunning work of art. It is one of my favorites among the pieces you have shared with us here. I think the reason is that the gold leaf is more of a highlight on this piece, which makes this piece feel "understated" in just the right way, compared with some of your other works that are "covered" with gold leaf.

 

if we had not have been on this journey from the start, we would swear that it was
created with some kind of CNC or other mechanical carving machines.
the Craftsmen and Women in your company are the most talented carvers and finishers I have ever seen.
if anyone has never gilded a complex project like that, they can not appreciate what goes into gold leaf or gold paint to get the most amazing results.
if I had the money and no Covid in the way, I would fly over there and volunteer to just sweep the floors for free to learn a thing a two. (just kidding).
