I bought a craftsman circular saw a while back. Actually, I bought three of them.
I wanted to make sure that the shoe was square and true to the base. I had to buy and return two of them before I got one that was true and that the blade would STAY square once adjusted.
Kind of a pain but I only live 20 minutes away from my local Sears so it was worth it.
