My daughter just made a request for a toy box for her daughter. It'll be simple, and made from baltic birch ply. She wants the sides painted some bright colors. My question - what paint product would you use? I don't have a sprayer yet, so it needs to be hand-applied. Any recommendations are welcome!

Thanks,
Dave

Any paint made today is child safe once it has cured. What every paint you are comfortable using would work fine. Personally I would use an oil based enamel. It would take a lot of abuse. If you wish to use latex, I would use trim paint.
