While back I saw someone post a thread of some candle holders that he made, which he saw from someone else. So if that someone was you thank you for the idea! I made 2 sets one solid mahogany and one hard maple, mahogany, and black walnut glued up, well here are the pics I took in the process and the end result.

I like the look of the glued up ones. They have a really striking look. I made 2 sets of 3 over Thanksgiving. When I laid them out and started drilling holes along the lines my Son in Law swore that it would fall into pieces as I drilled more holes. He was surprised when I finished drilling that I still had one piece. I have a band saw on my wish list. Wander if Santa will see this!!!

I never even thought of drilling that many holes as a substitute for a band saw. :thumbsup:

Ken, anyone who plays drill and miter saw to Christmas carols has more than enough time to make a candle holder or two... or ten even. :laughing:
