Just a couple of the nice ones for a new kitchen I am working on. Upper vent hood and lower for a cook top.
The rope is much easier to work with after I figured my own way to do it.

The moulding is two piece already put together when I purchase it. It is a quarter piece and so are the spindle blocks. Basically it is cove moulding.
You can see on the upper that I added 2.25 x 2.25 block that is there to cover the hole in the bottom.
The rope also comes in right and left twist, which I know now, and in many sizes.
You can get 3/4 round for trimming inside the panels and this is when you will have to use right and left to make it meet at the corners.

Very nice work fire. Nothing beats custom cabinets and your work is very tight. What kind of finish are you going to use?
